About Us

Alexandra Miller

Hello, my fellow vertically blessed babes:)

Welcome to Club Six. I am Alex, the designer and founder of Six the Label, and I’m so grateful you found me.

You’ve obviously landed here because you’ve been personally victimized by your own height, just as I have. As someone who has always embraced the beauty of being tall, I understand the struggle of finding clothes that truly fit. Our height is a gift, but it does come with its minor inconveniences. That’s why I created Six, a sustainable brand designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, CA, to celebrate tall women with elevated, yet edgy styles that empower with, finally, the perfect fit.

My mission is simple: to empower you, celebrate your height, and build a fierce community of confident, unstoppable women.

Sustainability at the Core

At our brand, sustainability is not a trend — it is a commitment woven into every step of our process. From responsibly sourced fabrics to thoughtful print techniques and low-impact dyeing methods, we create garments designed to feel good, look beautiful, and leave a lighter footprint on the planet.

Why We Choose TENCEL™ Modal

We use TENCEL™ Modal because it is one of the softest and more environmentally responsible fibers available today. Made from sustainably harvested beech wood, TENCEL™ Modal fibers are produced using an environmentally conscious process that reduces waste, conserves resources, and supports long-lasting quality.

Unlike conventional synthetic fabrics, TENCEL™ Modal is biodegradable, breathable, and exceptionally gentle on the skin. Its durability helps garments maintain their softness, shape, and color over time — encouraging fewer replacements and more mindful consumption.

Benefits of TENCEL™ Modal include:

Sustainably sourced wood pulp from certified forests
Exceptionally soft and lightweight feel
Breathable and moisture-managing comfort
Long-lasting durability and color retention
Biodegradable fibers with lower environmental impact

Our Natural Dye Process

Color should never come at the expense of the environment. That’s why we prioritize natural dyeing methods that minimize harmful chemicals and reduce water pollution.

Our fabrics are dyed using plant-based and low-impact pigments inspired by nature. This process creates rich, earthy tones while avoiding many of the harsh synthetic dyes commonly used in traditional textile production.

Because natural dyeing is a more mindful and artisanal process, slight variations in tone may occur — making each piece uniquely beautiful and one of a kind.

Our dye process is designed to:

Reduce chemical runoff and environmental pollution
Minimize water and energy consumption where possible
Avoid harsh toxins often found in conventional dyeing
Create naturally soft, lived-in color palettes
Support a slower, more intentional production approach

Thoughtful Print Patterns

We approach print design with the same philosophy as our fabrics — intentional, timeless, and made with care. Our print patterns are created in small runs to reduce excess production and textile waste, while focusing on versatile designs meant to be worn season after season.

Whenever possible, we use low-impact printing techniques and carefully selected inks that are gentler on both people and the environment. By producing in smaller quantities and avoiding trend-driven overproduction, we help reduce unnecessary waste throughout the manufacturing process.

Our print approach focuses on:

Small-batch production to minimize excess inventory
Low-impact printing methods and conscious ink choices
Timeless patterns designed for longevity
Reduced waste through thoughtful design planning
Quality craftsmanship over mass production

Designed for a Slower Future

We believe sustainability is about making thoughtful choices — creating fewer, better pieces that are made to last. By combining responsibly sourced TENCEL™ Modal, natural dye techniques, and intentional print design, we aim to offer clothing that feels luxurious while respecting the environment.

Every garment is part of our effort to support a slower, more conscious fashion industry — one rooted in quality, transparency, and care for the planet.
